In recent months, energy prices have reached unprecedented records. In fact, we exceeded €1,000/MWh on August 26, 2022. This increase seems even greater when compared to last year, when we were at around €154.4/MWh over the same period. That is an increase of more than 600% in 1 year!
What can you do to counter this increase? You could review your heating instructions for example. Estimate your consumption by activity zone/by use and think about corrective actions. But how could you optimize your consumption if you cannot see and understand it?
In order to act as best as possible on consumption, it is necessary to identify where the problems come from. However, market solutions are often content to present and analyze macro data of the “counting” type with time steps that are too large (several minutes) without integrating the notion of “usage”.
